Freedom is not free. My family has served since the Massachussettes Bay Colony Militia in 1636. Freedom comes with a price.

United States of America where you have freedoms that many others only dream of. The country where you can say you hate the current president or you can write how much you love your country. This land was paid for in the blood of our fathers and mothers so dont say we are not free. Yes we are free and every person should have that freedom. Every person every where

Amazing. Seditious name-calling, an Islamic person who has a kitty with automatic weapons, a U.K. native who thinks they have MORE freedom (how?), a black woman who thinks smokers should not have the same rights as non-smokers, all think and say we don't have freedom.
No one arrests them and they want only the freedom to comment, but not the freedom for people to respond to them! That is the lack of freedom most of them want. The freedom to do whatever they want without being challenged in their views.
Our freedoms are intact. Our system works. Those who want to silence others WILL NOT WIN.
I want these people to speak up. I support their free speech. Do they support mine? Yours? How about the rights of those who elected President Bush? Or would they undermine those rights in a second?
It is time for the rest of us to speak up. All of us. America-hating is no longer "sexy" or "cool". Patriots still live. I spoke up against the sedition against President Clinton, and do so now for President Bush. Yet, I support the free speech that protects sedition. As long as brave men and women are patriots, Democrat and Republican, sedition is powerless, and our system will continue to work!
Freedom reigns, not reins.

Freedom is the only way to enjoy life. It is great that we live in countries like the US and Philippines, where people can choose what to eat, watch, vote and wear. Where gays, colored people and lesbians can say what they want even against the government.

America? Land of the not-so-free. We don't even have freedom of speech or press anymore. We're under a retarded monkey baby- I mean 'wonderful president'.

HELL YEAH!!! Seriously, we do have it pretty good. That people have time and the forum to complain about it is a mark of something great.
