If there was revelation before, in the times of the ancient Prophets (which there was) and the times have gotten so much worse, and God loves us the same as he always has (which He does, He is unchanging) than why wouldn't revelation still be around today? Also, it is taught that revelation was received through the Priesthood, if there is no revelation, is there no Priesthood in existence?

According to Islam, God revealed the of the Holy Books like the Torah, Psalms, Gospels/Bible. However, the last and final revelation until the Day of Judgment is the Holy Qur'an. All of the prophets has miracles. When asked, what is the miracle of the Prophet Muhammad, he answered: The Holy Qur'an. This is a book that contains knowledge still being discovered by scientists today.
However, although the Qur'an is the final revelation, some spiritual illuminaries receive a sort of revelation, but it is not revelation for all of humanity. These spiritual illuminaries are generally the Shaikhs or Awliyas who have dedicated their lives to Dzikr of Allah. God knows best.

It is not clear what do you mean with revelation?!
If you are asking why there is no such a being as Christ today the answer is: There is or even are such or even more elevated souls on the Earth in this very moment. The only thing that differs is the way they give the teachings and the fact that they tend to be more hidden that Christ have been. Do not believe that Christ was known to all the world at his time. Just in the close region, very disputed, etc...
The purpose of this souls is to bring some souls back to Him.

I have the scripture. It is 1 Corinthians 13:8 "Love never fails. But whether there are [gifts of] prophesying, they will be done away with; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will be done away with." Revelation is prophecy, and this is the time (a time of greater understanding of God's Word) that there would be no more of that (1 Cor 13:9, 10, ).

ya know me and the savior were just discussing this very thing just the other day while eating at McDonald's. jezus told me [and this was a personal conversation mind you. so it's kinda off the record] he revealed to me that the whole revelations thing was all hogwash and he had no idea when or how he was going to " end it all" he said he'd probably just "wing it" and the Christians needed to back off and not be so pushy with people or they would be the first ones in hell.

revelation is a christian book, not a religious belief, as yoiu seem to assume. many religions have beliefs of an apocolyptic nature, such as the Hopi prophecys, jewish, apocolyptic writings of the various jewish prophets, muslim prohecies of allah, etc. even the maya have the calender which ends 12-12-12, a few short years from now. hope your not planning to go on vacation after that. are you? i'd love to get to the moon, but i don't think nasa is doing vacation planning right now.
