Dumpfinds summed it pretty well. Each christian man and woman story is different how they discovered Christ.
I guess this is why it is important to me as far as my relationship with Christ not so much religion. First all I have faith that there is a God a creator of man. Hebrews 11:01
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
My story and how I came to being a christian is a long..one.. maybe sometime I will post it on our blog and you can read it sometime. More or less.. God presented something to me through a vision during my time in prision and ever since then I know that there is a God. I know there will be judgment on man. Its a long story like I said. And it is important more so than ever because I know it is the way to entrnal life. It is that faith is why I believe that there is something after this life. =)

It's not religion that should be so important, but the personal relationship one has with Jesus Christ. He is a being that gave himself for us and desires us as beings, not as religions. Religions are organizations that have rules and regulations and often times can't decide whose they are going to follow or not; but Jesus just has himself and his word that he gave us to read and the Holy Spirit that he gives us upon accepting him to help us discern. That's the narrow way that scripture refers to - a relationship - religions are the broadway that lead to destruction and hell.
The relationship is important to me because it was what Jesus came to offer, it is what I accepted, and it is what continually provides me hope, joy, the ability to love others, to care and empathize, to accept the unacceptable in others, to appreciate the creation and to know the Creator. It is what motivates me to live a life that is simple, encouraging to others, and selfless - at least these are the attributes I hope others find in the life I live.

I believe Religion is the basic character of any human or any material. my basic character is Love and Knowledge which is religion for me.Religion is just a Character of the person and it is important for everyone.

I've said this be4 and I'll say it again I hate religon it's man made being a christian is having a personal relationship with God thru Jesus Christ.

It is my believe... my faith. It helps be the person I am and helps me in the horrible times in my life that all people have and it helps me to appreciate the wonderful of my life. It is who I am..

not so much religion, but my spiritual walk is so important because it is EVERYTHING....it is my life, my hope, my protection, my comfort, my love, etc.....
