In my culture, marriages are always arranged. It doesn't matter if you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend. If your parents arranged a marriage for you, thats it. You have to get married. If you really love that person and think he is the one you want to be with forever, thru sickness and health, rich or poor and everything else, you have to stand up to your parents and prove to them how much you love your boyfriend and how much he loves you.

could have your boyfriend become a hero. Or have your husband killed. Or both. It's too bad they already know he has no family, maybe you guys can fake that he has gotten rich relatives somewhere far away.
