I don't think any one religion is the best for all man. I think that there are many religions because there are many types of people. We all don't fit one mold. It is up to man to pick what religion, or no religion, they will like the best.

Having NO Religion would be the best.. 99% of the all the wars that were fought and/or started were due to religion.
But also without religion society will progress for the better, despite what religious leaders claim

A "religion" can't be good, because it eventually becomes a dogma that you are obliged to follow otherwise you get in trouble, both in this life and in the after life. However, a "belief" is a better attitude to life, and I find the essence of buddhism interesting, but not the actual religion.

It seems that you're under the impression that all people are alike. We're not. All of those qualifiers are very relative. What you find normal may be odd to someone else.

There is no such thing as a "best" religion, unless you're just really arrogant and full of pride.

YOUR OWN!!! I know this sounds strange but everyone has beliefs and customs so, in a way, they have their own religion! I mean for instance if you say " War is horrid!" and every night read before bed, you are doing a religious practice! If you think God doesn't exist or think their is SOMETHING above us humans, you can let that fashion your religion.

Being saved by the Grace of God is the greatest thing in the world. Faith and Trust in the Lord for your salvation is what takes you to Heaven. Not religion.

"Thus have We made of you a nation justly balanced, that you may be witnesses over the people and the Messenger a witness over yourselves." [al-Baqarah2 :143]

Therefore, one finds that Islam presents the moderate way in every aspect of life. Not only that, it also warns against heading towards either extreme: the extreme of too much zealousness and the extreme of too much nonchalance.

"Guide us to the straight way, the way of those upon whom You have bestowed Your grace, not those whose (portion) is wrath nor those who have gone astray." [al-Fatihah1 :6-7]
