The Christians associated him with Satan. according the Jewish Torah. Satan is a separate figure.
St. Lucifer according to precreation stories was supposed to be this Planets Guardian Angel until he though he could run creation better than the Creator of which we all area part of. When his rebellion ended in failure. Him and the angles that supported him were cast out onto an island surrounded by a lake of glass to await the day of the final Judgement. there is nothing saying he can influence anybody n this world or leave the place of confinement.

According to Islam, he was never an Angel, he is a Jinn. Jinn are intelligent beings who exist on this earth and whose base ingredient is a smokeless, heat-less fire. Jinn also possess freewill, like man. Angels are a being totally submissive to God with no free will and their base ingredient is light. Humans are the only other beings with free will and their base ingredient is dust.
According to the Holy Qur'an (Islam's scripture, the Word of God as revealled to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) via Angel Gabriel) Lucifer (whose real name is Iblis) refused to prostrate to Adam (peace be upon him) when God commanded all to do so. When Iblis did this, God condemned him and he became Satan (or Shaytaan in Arabic). Before, Iblis was a high positioned Jinn who was a teacher to the Angels. Now he is the sworn enemy of humanity.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satin/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about satans role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Lucifer in heaven replaced into the Angel of music. even if, that doesn't make music incorrect...very few music. God loves music, making a music, praise. each position interior the Bible the position it mentions Angels in Heaven, they're quite a lot always making a music. In Revelation, the position it describes the full multitude beforehand the throne, they're making a music. even if, considering Lucifer replaced into kicked out of Heaven, and grew to grow to be devil, He has labored to distort music and pervert it. music is an significant style of language, or maybe as used incorrect, does create wicked dispositions. there is not something incorrect with liking snakes, or maybe liking sorts of music. even if, do not worship the snake, and be careful that the music you hear to isn't worldly, yet God honoring.

i think he was the head angel, he was more powerful and that's why he thought he didn't want to be bossed around by god, he thought he was better and stronger so he became EVIL!!!!!! i find it quiet funny that god would create something to go against him,i mean its kinda ridiculous seen as though god doesn't make mistakes, oh well i guess we just gotta have faith as George Micheal says heheh.
