Everyone thinks that you HAVE to have a religion to know your spirit, but do you?

religion isn't spirituality... it's a set of rules and traditions you follow in order to nurture your spirituality... there are plenty of people who have no God or belief in the afterlife, and yet they are incredibly spiritual... they are in tune with their inner self and they spend a lot of time maintaining it...
i think faith is the better word to use in terms of religion... faith plays a huge part in my life... that is what gives me a spirit that is able to worship God... i would hate to say that i was religious or spiritual because it means next to nothing in my mind... faith is what keeps me going when i falter in my path to heaven... it's everything to me...

to know your spirit is an intresting question , if you can leave your body and look in a miror you will know what you look like , if you have more then one spirit that makes up your consicness, or even if you are human or not . if your spirit looks like a small tadpole you are human , if you are white and have arms and legs then you are an angel , if your eyes are green. if you aree a creation spirit you could be white , black , golden or transparet , the size of your spirit will determin your streanth of spirit . if you cant leave your body you are an amature at being spiritual , and if you go to church then the chances are you dont even know what being spiritual is , so good luck.

Spirituality in my life is processing the Spirit of the Holy Spirit which is of God on the iniside and living holy.

Religion to me is like Character, which cannot be separated from me, Who am I? whit is my Basic Instincts?? are religion to me and God made me in his image ie. the image of Love and Knowledge.I think Love is the only religion for me.And to spared massage of Love and Peace is Spirituality to me.

not everyone thinks that way, look at me--i don't. no one has to comply to anyone else's institution or way of believing. it's perfectly fine to have your own religion even if no one else in the world shares it with you. in fact i personally think that your very own way is preferred since it is the only way that will suit you best, like a finely tailored outfit... and if someone tries to convert you to their religion, well then you can always just tell them to go to hell.

God hates religion, Just love God and follow him. Read the Bible and do what it says, church can help if they preach based on the Bible. I basically follow God.
