When I moved out I got stuck with over $1000 worth of bills that I paid in full. Now I'm finding collection acct's on my credit report that were his responsibility. I have a suspicion that he cancelled the change of names on our account and I just found almost $500 more in bills on my credit report that are past due. What kind of case would I have in small courts? There are bills that were accumulated after I moved out, like PG&E, Phone, and Water. Please help!

Threaten court...if that doesn't work take him to court. Try one of those court TV shows....to embarrass him. They will make him pay for your court cost also. Be sure you have receipts.

small claims court, have proof you paid all of the bills and he will have to cough up half if his name is on bills also!

...you hire someone like me ......after I hurt all his feelings (physically,emotionally,socially,spiritually,and mentally)..he'll come running like a ***** to pay his and probably your half too!
