is this what ISLAM teaches about TERRORISM?

In the Quran, Allah orders Muslims to terrorize non-Muslims in His behalf:

"Strike terror (into the hearts of) the enemies of Allah and your enemies." Surah 8:60

"Fight (kill) them (non Muslims) and Allah will punish (torment) them by your hands, cover them with shame." Surah 9:14

"I will instil terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them. It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah." Surah 8:12-17

"O ye who believe! Fight the unbelievers...let them find firmness (harshness) in you and know that Allah is with those who fear Him." Surah 9:123

In the Hadith (Mohammed's sayings), Mohammed also urges Muslims to practice Jihad.

Mohammed once was asked: what is the best deed for the Muslim next to believing in Allah and His Apostle? His answer was: "To participate in Jihad in Allah's cause."Al-Bukhari vol 1:25

Mohammed was also quoted as saying: "I have been ordered to fight with the people till they say, none has the right to be worshipped but Allah." Al-Bukhari vol 4:196

It is worth noting here that the words "fight" and "kill" have appeared in the Quran more frequently than the word "pray."

Islam teaches that people are divided into two different camps; Dar al Harb (The abode of war), and Dar al Islam (The abode of Islam). Those who belong to Dar al Islam are the Muslims who are in a constant state of war with Dar al Harb who are the non-Muslims, until such time the non-Muslims convert to Islam. In other words, Muslims can never peacefully co-exist with non-muslims.

Now you can ask “then why all the media blame as Islam sponsors terrorism?”
The answer is Islam never encourages terrorism, but very few Muslims are choosing the terrorism as their weapon. Now we need to think why those people took the terrorism as weapon.

Think the situation in Iraq or Afghanistan so many civilians’ common men are used to attack by US army, similarly so many Muslims are attacked and Muslims girls are raped by Indian army, lot of Muslims were killed in Gujarat (India, in a recent communal riot). Lot of Muslims is used to kill by LTTE in Siri Lanka. Each and every heart knows Israel used to kill Muslim people in Palestine. So very few of Muslims choose the terrorism to reply then.

As per percentage of Islamic terrorist very very low compared with their population. And you need to analyze is only Muslim do the terrorism? No every part of the world various groups chose terrorism as their weapon. For example LTTE in Ceylon, Maoist in Nepal (The only Hindu Nation in the world), ULFA – Naxolites – Tamil terrorist – and more terrorist groups acting in India they are not Muslims and Islam is not the teacher of their terrorism.

If really Islam teaches terrorism then each and every Muslim hold the weapons with them but practically Muslims are very cowardly (Not brave) that’s why recently in Gujarat (one of the states in India) lots of Muslims were attacked, killed, raped, and robbed. But other parts of Muslims were not attacked Hindu people.

And one more thing you have to think at this time Maoist also doing the terrorism but no one called this as “Hindu Terrorism” even Nepal is the only Hindu nation, BJP, VHP, RSS, Bajrang dal, Sang Pariwar, etc… are used to doing terrorism in all parts of India but no one named it as Hindu terrorism, LTTE kills lots of people in every day no one named it as Tamil or Hindu terrorism, Israel army also kills huge amount of Muslim civilians but no one called it as Jews terrorism, at the same time the group which hold Arab name or the terrorist who named Muslim name do the terrorism the entire media name it as Islamic terrorism.

Actually speaking America is very big terror in the world. You and every one know there is no mass destruction weapon in Iraq. But America attacked and now it aims to attack Iran also. What is reason behind this? Purely, “Oil Minded”. As well as no one named it as American terrorism or Christian terrorism.

So Islam always teaches LOVE to their followers. Islamic rules are practically applicable, and it never changes for time to time or place to place or people to people. Even the black men or white men, men or women, wealth or poor there is no different in front of Quran’s law.

I think that if you really want to learn the truth about Islam, specifically if the religion promotes violence or not, then you should read these verses more carefully, without some preconcieved notion that Islam is a violent religion. It seems you've already made up your mind that Islam teaches Muslims to be 'terrorists' when in fact Muslims are genuinely peaceful people.

I'll address your citations now. As I went over these quotes in the Quran I notices that a few of the translations differed, and your translation included meanings that the author may have assumed through an incorrect interpretation, or you may have assumed yourself what certain words implied. That's what's tough about translations- they can't be fully interpreted in just one sentence.
Also, it seems you've picked these specific verses out without pointing out whom they were specifically directed to and why. For example, some of these verses were outlining ways that Muslims should treat non-Muslims in certain situations where violence was present, etc.

If you really want to learn the truth then you musn't just take certain verses that may be interpreted as violent, but instead learn what these verses mean and why they were written in this way (various factors play a role in the composition of the Quran).

And lastly, Jihad is a term that's been twisted around in the media to mean violence and terrorism, when in fact the term directly translates into 'struggle', and that's exactly what it is, whether in a state of war, an argument, etc. Jihad is a general term that means struggle, and that's it.

The bible does it too. Lucky for us our laws don't go hand in hand with the bible. (I'm not referring to terrorism here, I am referring to what happens and or what can happen within ones own country)

2) Suppose a man or woman among you, in one of your towns that the LORD your God is giving you, has done evil in the sight of the LORD your God and has violated the covenant by serving other gods or by worshiping the sun, the moon, or any of the forces of heaven, which I have strictly forbidden. When you hear about it, investigate the matter thoroughly. If it is true that this detestable thing has been done in Israel, then that man or woman must be taken to the gates of the town and stoned to death. (Deuteronomy 17:2-5 NLT)

islam is a religion that respects life and peace more than anything, and muslims have coexisted with each and every population through out history, most if not all islamic countries have a lot of churches, and it was in prophet's Mohammad's instructions to soldiers going to war not to kill or harm old men, women and children and leave those who are in their religious sanctuaries alone untouched,

it is in the essence of islam with a direct order from God to esablish freedom of religions, no obligation in religion, and those who are non muslims are untouchable unless they cause harm to muslims only then muslims are allowed to retaliate with just reactions not to the extreme,

and in no way islam supports ideas like killing innocent civilians, those who wave parts of Quraan or hadith without looking at the whole picture are either ignorant people, unobjective, or simply trying to mutilate the picture of islam, sorry i have no time to elaborate more, but i guess it's no use anyway most will not bother to seek the truth ignorance is much more an easier choice

Good job with taking verses out of context and prooving Islam is teaching Terror. I could do that with any script. Taking verses out of context, and making them look terroristic, wouldn't change the truth. The bible contains many verses that look so voilent: Kill the suckling and the infant, put them to death, their blood shall be upon them.. and many more. Here's what REALLY Islam teaches about terrorism:
