They are indeed strict, and maybe to the extreme at times. However, you don't hear of some of the things that go on at secular, less strict colleges. I live in Pensacola and shop at the Wal-Mart the PCC students shop. They're always very polite and respectable. I am sure that doesn't have much to do with the girls wearing panty hose, but it all goes back to the strict rules. I went to Pensacola Christian School until 8th grade. That might be why I hate panty hose so much.

Obviously its a modesty issue, however in the last sixty years nylons have gone from being the ultimate in sexyness to a statement of modesty? Methinks somebody has stock in the nylon industry. Long dresses work best, and nylons are still very sexy.

I think that is such an old way of thinking. I think it was a sin a long time ago to show skin and I think that nowadays by wearing nylons you are covering the skin and keeping boys from getting distracted by sexy bare legs. I like wearing pants to church.

Many religions have very strict dress attire for females and males. This is to cover the flesh and to deter the opposite sexes from lust. I attend a church that ask their women to be covered from the clavicle to the ankle in mixed assemblies. However, this is a manmade tradition and not taught in scripture at all. Scripture teaches that we are to be moderate, sober (using good judgment), and that we are not to entice - this means we are accountable for how we dress and present ourselves. If you as a female want a guy to paw all over you, then wear just enough to tempt him - but if you want him to respect you and to treat you as though you are worthy of respect, then wear enough that he has to truly wonder if he's seeing panty lines or not! It's the same with guys - if I really wanted to know the size of your organ, I'm brave enough to walk up to you and ask you - and if I really wanted to see the crack of your rear, I'm ornery enough to reach up and jerk your pants - but the truth is, it's neither enticing nor appealing to me to see your bulge or your crack - let's face it - we all like to have a little something to imagine over! Even if we end up disappointed! Enough chase - the basic premise of modest dress is to be self respecting and in so being, others will treat you respectfully.

nicely, it is like asserting that UCLA scientific college is somewhat purely a commerce college for docs, no longer a school. lots of BJU's graduates circulate into the ministry. Granted, they do produce different faculties interior the blend, which includes corporation, and so on, yet even they have achievement getting a activity. Quoting from a internet site it is intense of BJU: "lots of its 34,000 graduates fill the pulpits of somewhat 1000's of professing elementary, evangelical, Bible-believing church homes during the USA, or serve on the undertaking container international extensive. in spite of the shown fact that, because of the extra worldly nature of the curriculum at BJU, maximum human beings of those now earning undergraduate ranges shun the "ministerial professions" to circulate into the fields of corporation, coaching, regulation, drugs, song, speech, artwork, cinema, radio and tv, and domicile economics. (to maintain the face of a "Christian" employer, BJU does require its undergraduate scholars to take a minimum of one direction in step with semester interior the branch of Bible.)"

It is a statement of standards, but if you don't like it you don't have to go there. This is a free country you have a free choice to go wherever you want to. Don't deny those who would submit themselves to those rules the right to choose to do so.

I guess because they believe it is sinful for females to entice the males if they expose bare skin.
