I just got to know this guy from a friend of mine in a club. As I was the only person who did not know the whole bunch of people who were in their group. He kept me entertain throughout the night by chit chatting with me. This action of his really make me felt that he was a gentlemen. After hanging out with him, I think I might be interested in him. However, I did not had the opportunity to ask for his handphone or email. I know I may ask his number from my friend, but here is the tricky part how do I call/msg him but not let him know that I'm interested in him.

Note: I'm afraid if he knows that I am interested in him, he may freak out.

It seems to me that the goal is to let him know that you like him, but not in such a way that either of you feel awkwards. Also, you most likely want to have enough wiggle room that in case he isn't interested in you, you can won't have made such a strong move that you can't back off and claim you never liked him all that much in the first place.

But, from a guys perspective I can tell you that I wouldn't go to a club and spend a lot of time with a girl I wasn't interested in. Spending time with a girl I don't like is simply a waste especially when there were most likely plenty of cute girls in the club.

You have to ask yourself...will I see this guy again because of the mutual friends? If so, flirt with him next time you see him until he gets the hint that you like him.

If you most likely won't see him in the next couple of weeks ask a mutual friend about him. Chances are that if he has a strong interest in you he will have told some of the other guys in order to "lay claim" to you. Have the mutual friend set things up for you or maybe arrange a smaller outing with just a couple of people.

Don't try to get fancy by asking for his phone number and calling him directly. He may get scared off if you are too direct...some men like to chase.

This looks really tricky, I think the trick is that you could always ask your friend when is their next gathering. Join them and start a conversation with the guy. If the guy is really interested in you, he will take the initative and talk to you. After that you may take the opportunity to exchange email or telephone number.
Dun be too anxious, take things step by step, so that you can know the guy better and c if he is the right guy for you.
All the best to you

Just go for it... apparently he likes you enough to make you feel comforable in an odd situation... this is a good sign that he may be interested and he may have the same thoughts running thru his mind. :)
