From our human viewpoint, we cannot see but a short distance of perceived future - we actually cannot see into the next moment, but few of us are truly aware of that and live with that full knowledge. It is this that leads us to respond to the fear of man and forget to first take it to God and trust him, who can see not just into the next moment, but into all eternity.

I'll give you a brief example: I have metal poisoning - as we were at the nutritionist office we had been referred to for purchasing quality products to help clear my system, I passed out. The very good salesman took advantage of this opportunity and sold my husband everything but the business. Now, my husband knows that I have many allergies and so we now have some probably good nutritional products, but I am allergic to them! Had he taken his fear to God first and not allowed the very good salesman to play upon it, then we would have known which products would specifically have been worthy of our limited resources.

I hope this has given you encouragement, as maybe sometimes, we just need to be encouraged that when fear of man starts kicking in, we need to take a bathroom break, and say a prayer! Even in our own homes!

Spiritual immaturity in the Lord, and the need for a stronger relationship with Him. Sometimes a lack of commitment to God. Other times a desire to please man over God.

The more you grow in Him and come to know Him, the less the fear of man takes over. The bible says the fear of man is a stumbling block, so I'm positive it's something the Lord would have you get over.

Man's fear are feeling generated by our mind when we don't know and understand or simply the absence of faith. Unfortunately many people don't have faith which is why fear of man overrides the fear of GOD.

But GOD did not teach us to fear him but rather he teaches LOVE. And because of his great love he send his only son Jesus Christ who died in the cross for our salvation.

Because we fear the judgment of man, who we readily see and feel the consequences from, rather than an eternal God from whom the consequences are far off. Plus, over time things get minimized, you can talk yourself out of anything, justify anything - thinking God will forget, or He won't really mind....!

no longer necessisarily. If an exterior god speaks to us it ought to apply our experience of right and incorrect yet a lot of what we see as wakeful is from evloved bias and cultral "parent tapes" which repeat issues that have been drummed into us. If God of the Bible existed it ought to apply something to chat to us. If the recent testomony is genuine then God's spirit might communicate to our hearts and this might appear as if a feeling of right and incorrect chatting with us or shifting our coronary heart.

We don't always remember in the worst of times that our Lord said"Fear not, for I will always be with you, and when you get questioned for your faith the Holy Spirit will guide your words." Yet we still think we need to prepare for that challenge, and arm ourselves with all sort of mis-conceptions.

Men are arrogant. The Bible says fear not the man who can destroy your body but fear the one who can destroy both body and soul.
