This isn't really a question in the true sense, but rather personal commentary that you can then respond to:

Anything stupid and immature will be taken with a grain of salt and subsequently ignored. I really do not care what some anonymous brain dead pot head thinks of me as he types away in his shack.

My first quasi-question concerns the answering of questions- why do so many people "answer" questions when they don't know what the hell they are talking about?

The second- why are so many people on here dismissive or outright cruel to people who appear to be in pain? If you are annoyed, read something else. Being cruel, stupid and vapid just brings you down and makes the person in question feel shittier.

Third: is the intelligence of the human animal going down a little more each day, or do people just enjoy looking stupid?

To those that write compassionate, intelligent, mature posts- this is not directed at you.

Have you, in any way, considered the questions asked? You must see that there are questions that get silly answers because the questions are also silly. Besides, if we are to be serious all the time, how can this forum just be fun for ALL of us?

The thing is, it is okay if there are silly answers, after all, the number of serious ones are also quite prevalent. It is also worth noting that if you will just heed from giving them the attention they crave, maybe, just maybe, they will turn in more and more serious answers as time goes by. Those kinds of people like it when people get riled by their answers and sadly, you just have taken that bait.

Anyways, live and let live! Life is easier lived when we do not allow others, specially the ones we barely know, affect us. :)

If you didnt care what an anonymous brain dead pot head thinks of you then you wouldnt be writing this. Obviously you do care. And obviously you arent ignoring. If Yahoo answers were all mature questions and answers, it would not be fun. You are starting to sound like Edna Bambord or whatever that lady's name is.

Aggression is aggression. Why do you, in your own mind, make yours acceptable while you make theirs not? Think about yourself. Get to the core of your character and your own decisions. Realize that what you are displaying here in this question is the same thing in essence as everyone else that you mention.
One thing though that makes everything I have just said a null. This is the internet. You're looking at text. You rarely ever know with certainty the real intent of any words posted. I could take a simple one word greeting like "hello" and by inflection and presentation could make it express pretty much anything from gratifying to highly insulting.
So....I've said enough. I'll probably stop doing this Yahoo answers schhhhtuff fairly soon. How much of this can I do to myself?
