be patient. many men can love, but can not commit or are ready for it. a ring can mean commitement to marriage and he's not ready yet. you can love someone, but not be in-love with them yet. myself and many others i know have dated years before getting a ring or jewelry. to some, getting bracelets, necklaces is very personal and sets the stage for the next step or puts the relationship further than the other may be ready for. if you want a ring and i'm not talking about engagement ring. have him go shopping with you and walk by some rings and see which one he likes that you already like and say i want it and i'm going to buy it and do it. he may offer to buy it or not. its possible he may have bought expensive or nice jewelry for his last girlfriend or one of them and they split or just wanted those things all the time.

Oh Gee! You need some little trinket or some thing like that so you know he loves you?! Honey if you need that kinda thing from him then maybe you should take a serious look at your relationship! i love jewellery as much as the next girl, but really, when it comes down to it, whats more important, his verbal reassurance that he loves cares and values you? or some bracelt or ring?

u should tell him , or u should just shut up because rings are not the thing that will make u fall in love and i think maybe you are rushing him or u r really into rings and rings aren't what make u fall in love , or he is saving money or probably he don't know what kinda ring u like or he's just thinkin about it

I think that you should be patient.. i was with my fiance for 7 years before i got a ring. i wanted it for a long time and i knew that if i were to insists on it then i would have to wait even longer. just be patient and remember that he loves you and thats all that matters. love is everything. a ring is just jewelry.

Why do girls stress out so much about rings? If he is good to you.... why is a ring so important? shouldn't the fact that he loves u and is good to you be the most important thing?... you are so materialistic.

Hello,

You could try talking to him, like where is your relationship going...i mean the future ...does he see himself marrying you ? or not...so you'll know where you stand......

If you want a ring the best advice is to talk to him..not be all in his face, but have a mture conversation and see where you go from there

Good luck

It's time to come right out and ask him about it. You could be wasting your time on him. It's time for a commitment and a ring or it's time to move on. Obviously, he is content with things as they are. He has it too easy.

3 years?? As a male... 3 years is not enough. You have plenty of time to get married just wait another year or so. You are worring about this too soon.

it sounds to me like you are a bit materialistic. WHY do you need a ring or jewelry to know that he loves you? I would think that his love was enough.
