No. John 1;18 No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is in the bosom [position] with the Father is the one that has explained him.
Jesus explained him. He could, because Jesus is NOT God himself, but IS His son. God had no beginning. or end. But Jesus DID have a beginning. Proverbs 8; 22-31.
Exodus 33;23 After that I must take my palm away, and you will indeed see my back. But my face may not be seen.”
Verse 22 explains God's "back"
. 22 And it has to occur that while my glory is passing by I must place you in a hole in the rock, and I must put my palm over you as a screen until I have passed by.
It was His " Glory"
John 6;46 Not that any man has seen the Father, except he who is from God; this one has seen the Father.
The "HE" who is from God, is Jesus. And Jesus has seen his Father because he, Jesus, was in heaven WITH his Father BEFORE he was SENT to earth, BY his Father. Again, Proverbs 8;22-31.

Yes, I experienced God when I was seventeen. I've shared the experience before, but the result has always been disbelief, assumptions of drugs, alcohol or brain damage. Kind of entertaining, like having someone come up to you and tell you that you didn't really have the parents you think you did but were raised by dogs. You have to wonder how they can say such things with no evidence at all, when you experienced it first hand, and weren't trying to prove it one way or the other.
I just share what I can with my wife and daughter, and we take advantage of the knowledge to make our lives better and richer.
There was no message, no mission. Just the experience of everything, everywhere, everywhen, simultaneously, for five hours. There was no body, no "I", no room, no earth, except as one of an infinite number of "things" that were part of everything.
When I was next aware of having a body and identity, I left my room and my mother asked where I had been. I told her, "In my room". She was disappointed that I'd lie to her, because I hadn't done that in many years. She had gone into my room and I had not been there. She warned me that I was late for dinner. That told me that five hours had passed without any idea of time, space, etc.
Changed me utterly. No bad effects. Went to psychologist and got a cat-scan to be sure. Nothing. Psychologist basically told me that if it WAS a psychotic break of some kind, it was a very beneficial one and that at present there was no reason to visit further unless I felt the need to talk.
So many people with so many other experiences or silly answers. One man who has met God doesn't really stand out, especially when he doesn't have a book, a group, or a mission.
So much is possible for people, and no one is interested. I gave up the search for others a while ago, but might start a chat room on the subject of practical spirituality. Mostly I just want to make sure my daughter benefits in every way I can think of. She's already an amazing seven-month old.

Nobody has seen God, since He is a being and not a person.
It is true that He works through many people here on earth, but has never been seen. Only Jesus has (will) ever see Him.
It may be hard to believe on the first time hearing, but so was it hard to believe that He created the earth, the sky, the oceans and man. Yet he did all that.
We believe what has been handed down in writing and in word, since cameras, TVs and computers were not invented 5000 years ago. We believe in George Washington, no cameras then either. It was reported, written down and painted to share the glory.
We believe in both and we trust in God. His work is all around us, we don't even need to see Him.

My thoughts are that if you cared about truth, you would not attempt to rip things out of context and juxtapose them with other things that you have also ripped out of context. The quote from Genesis is the explanation for the name of the place where Jacob wrestled the angel. The New Testament quotes actually say, "No man hath seen God at any time." Since God exists apart from time, this would be true in a natural sense, but not in a supernatural sense. When will nonbelievers stop trying to abuse the Bible for their own ends? It has never been proven wrong about anything it actually says. But, you have to deal with what the Bible says and not what you want it to say... .

No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love has been brought to full expression through us.
No one can see air, but everyone can see the effect the wind has on a tree.
Again no one can see God, but everyone can see the effect God can have on a person who truely believes.

Most people do not realize that when in the Hebrew-Aramaic Scriptures it spoke of people seeing God, it was actually his angelic representative. Take the passage you use as an example, Jacob said he saw God face to face, but we know that this was really an angel of Jehovah, not God himself. One reason is the other passage you quote, but also note this please: “In the belly he seized his brother by the heel, and with his dynamic energy he contended with God. And he kept contending with an angel and gradually prevailed. He wept, that he might implore favor for himself.” (Hosea 12:3, 4) So this confirms that it was an angel. There are other examples as well, where it talks about God or Jehovah, and later syays "an angel." One more, helps us understand: Note Jehovah's wors to Israel: “Here I am sending an angel ahead of you to keep you on the road and to bring you into the place that I have prepared. Watch yourself because of him and obey his voice. Do not behave rebelliously against him, for he will not pardon your transgression; because my name is within him.” (Exodus 23:20, 21) Acting in Jehovah's authority as his representative, the angel could be called Jehovah because "my name is within him."

The Bible states that no man can look upon the face of God and live.
God cannot be seen, He can only be experienced.
