PIZZA GRILLED - CHEESE SANDWICHES
8 slices bread (white or wheat)
3/4 c. pizza sauce, divided
8 slices mozzarella cheese
24 thin slices of pepperoni
Assorted topping of your choice & onions, olives, etc.
2 tbsp. Crisco, divided
1. Prepare sandwiches by laying out bread. Spread 1 teaspoon pizza sauce on top of each piece of bread.
2. Place slice of cheese on top of 4 bread slices.
3. Place 6 pepperoni slices on top of cheese. Top with your favorite ingredients. Cover with the other flour slices of cheese and bread.
4. Melt 1 tablespoon Crisco in large skillet on medium heat, making sure entire surface of skillet is covered. Add sandwiches. Grill on first side until golden brown, about 2-4 minutes. Add remaining Crisco. Let melt. Turn sandwiches. Press down with spatula. Grill on second side. Cut sandwiches in 4 pieces. Heat remaining pizza sauce. Serve as a dip with sandwiches.

take a frying pan, spray butter on it.. put on medium heat.. while that is warming up put together the sandwich along with the condiments.. spray butter spray on one side of the sandwich.. put in pan spray butter spray on top... allow side down to cook about 2 minutes and then flip and cook otherside... remove and serve with chips, potato salad or slaw...
Oh you can also do the same with a sheet pan covered with aluminum foil and it will toast it the same way except it will not have the butter taste... if you are going to do that then you need to put your oven on broil and just keep on checking it.. Usually take about 4 minutes.. Enjoy

Try the George Foreman Lean Mean Grilling Machine. Spread some butter or margarine on your sandwich bread so you can grill it to perfection... I leave mine in for about two minutes. Try ham and cheese... it's great.

toaster oven make the sandwich put it in and it works great i use mine faithfully
