Ankylosing spondylitis - a condition characterized by ossification of the spinal ligaments and ankylosis of sacro-iliac joints. It occurs chiefly in young men.

it is a improper curvature of the lumbar spine. cause by either a birth defect or an injury. there is not a cure other than surgery and that is iffy. you can get chiropractic treatment for it and it helps. i've had this same problem since 1972. mine is from a fall down stairs.
