If you have a ring then the best thing to do may be to place it in something that you give her, though maybe not food unless its pretty obvious so she doesnt choke. Perhaps as the prize in a box of cracker jacks, when she pulls it out and sees the look, what will probably be a horrible look from nervousness, on your face she'll get the message pretty clear. Send her flowers and a newspaper. With the newspaper first you need to see if you can either make a page insert with the purposal on it or on the actual newspaper. Either way, send her that and the flowers to her work if it is okay with her boss. be waiting outside with a single flower, her favorite, and bend down on one knee and tell her how much you love her and how you can't dream of waking up next to any other women for the rest of you life. Try putting the ring and a note somewhere special for her to find. She'll probably think it's romantic.
Take her to dinner and simply hand her the ring box while down on one knee, she'll understand.
Buy one wedding invitation and send it to her, inviting her to the wedding of you and her. Then when she asks about it, hand her the ring box.
