nah, not believe but just plain deep rooted faith... a faith not oppressive, full of optimism, not obsessive, not threathening, not harmful, full of compassion, of peace, of love, of understanding.... that's how i dedicate myself in my own faith....

First of all it is a strong feeling I have. In other words I feel Gods pressence in my life.

Second abilities that I seem to have that I can not explain.

Lastly more research then most others. I have found a lot of things that no scientologyst or Athiest can explain away.

The last debate I had with an Athiest the Athiest stopped debating.

Don't worry I can do this to a religious person too. However, only Athiests try to challenge me.

Yes, I am a believer who has done a lot of research on both sides.

Science.
The law of conservation of mass states that mass can neither be created nor destroyed, excepting nuclear fission/fusion type events. The law of conservation of energy states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but can be transformed from one form to another, including mass. Now look at your hand.
Every atom in your hand, and all the photons of energy in it, were created at the dawn of the universe, approximately 13,5 billion years ago, and all those atoms and most of the photons will stay here on earth for quite a while after you're dead.
So what is it that makes you, you? Your soul. Where did it come from? Where were all of our souls 100 years ago? Where will they be in 100 years? What difference could it possibly make that they are/ever were/ever will be here? Why are we here? And a question that we should all ask ourselves every day, that I originally heard from the author Michael Crichton, "Why do we do the things we do?" You owe it to your soul to seek some answers, answers that require effort on your part, and that effort will bring you results: you will know yourself better, you will get a meaning for existence that will satisfy you, and don't stop until you have absolute certainty of faith. Since faith and evidence are antithetical in real life, this makes no sense, you will never have proof of your faith, not proof that you can see or touch. But your soul will not rest if you don't seek it. Once your soul recognizes that certainty, you will know. For myself, I see that certainty in the Koran, the revealed word of the one Creator of the Universe. But there are many paths to God. It's not about the religion, it's about your commitment to you, and to your Creator.

I'm not a believer, but the reason why most people believe is because of blind faith. this faith is so powerful that it shields the person's eyes and warps the persons mind even in the face of irrefutable proof that their beliefs are a load of crap. In some pious people, this faith is so powerful that the person is willing to fight and even die for it, like the suicude bombers.

What cracks me up about Atheists is that they base their beliefs on Science. Science is constantly flawed and re-thought. Real atheism is bad science anyway because it rules out what can't be absolutely ruled out. Science is about an open mind and discovery. So go ahead atheists, call me stupid and gullible. It's also funny how something that is so ignorant to you, you have the need to attack it on an Internet message board. Sounds like your not quite secure as you thought in your beliefs.

Only that something inside me doesn't have the ability NOT to believe. I can't disbelieve in something greater than myself, in the same way I can't kiss my elbow, or turn off a light switch using only my thoughts.

I've tried not to believe, and I just can't.

No one and nothing makes me believe.

I have heard the word of God, believed of my own free will, obeyed and have seen the results of those actions in my life.
