The people here that claim OBL is in Iran are siingularly uninformed. The vast majority of the people and the government in Iran are Shia Muslims, Osama is a Sunni and regards Shias as heretics. The Shia and Sunni are in a civil war in neighbouring Iraq. If he went to Iran he would be torn to bits. It really is more likely he is hiding with old mate GWB even though I think that unlikely as GWB aint got the guts.

He will be hiding where he is virtually inaccessible or where people wouldnt bother to look (caves and mountains work here.) i think the more important question is, does it matter?

he'll be on the run for the rest of his life. anywhere he pops his head up (except maybe iran or syria) and there will be people after him. Lets not pretend that America is the only country he has attacked.

More to the point, Al-quaida has been seriously weakened and hes not much more than the equivalent of a celebrity figurehead. Maybe a martyr-to-be for the jihadists, but with his funds cut off and increased scrutiny of his various accounts, he really doesn't have all that much power anymore.

Usuama bin laden or osama bin laden or how ever you want to spell it is not hiding out, that is the key to his startegy. bin laden can not hide out, if he hides from the u.s.a the u.s wins and he can never let the u.s. win so he has to be somewhere where he is visible, so most likely somilia or somewhre else that is being ignored by the white devil govt currently. bin laden wouldnt be a threat if this society was based on equal rights for all levels of the classist society.

It doesn't matter where he is. Do you actually think that his capture would stop the sick goals of the fanatics who follow him?
Get rid of him and there are a thousand waiting to take his place.
In my opinion, they just might KNOW where he is. They don't take him out though because following him gives them many more opportunities to take out factions that are working with Bin Laden. He helps to lead them to the others. Maybe not but just sharing a possibility.

chacha made a good point...vermin started out well...Bin Laden is more likely in Pakistan, in the opinion of our military analysts. In stature, he is quite a bit taller than average, so it would be more difficult for him to hide in the USA, tho other terrorists on note seem to come and go freely.

The only place for Laden to hide safely is Pakistan. Pakistan is a heaven for such criminals. He cannot hide in Iran because Shias there will torn his ass to pieces.
