I also have a very unusual name, I've never met anyone with my name in almost 40 years. I learned to use that to my advantage. I think your name is very pretty, just do like I do and be proud to be different.

People do the same thing with my name. I try to pronounce my name clearly: "Arabella." The response is either, "Excuse me?" or "Could you repeat that, please?" or "What was that? Anabell?"
