Well, a clone would be still have his/her own living entity (spirt, soul, ghost, whatever you wanna call it), it's only his/her genetics that have been messed with.

I would say that the clone would have its own unique soul, but one similar to the donors, much like an embryo has the genes from its parents. Humans created the flesh, but I doubt a God would deny a clone a soul because a human created it. I believe these clones have their own unique fate. It's well known that although a clone is identical in genetics, the life experiences are what makes it an individual. Thus a clone is not an exact copy of its parent unless a great deal of care has been taken to mimic the parent's life. Even then it is unlikely to be 100% exact.

Clones are only exact duplicates that pop out fully grown from the cloneToasterOven in science fiction. Real clones are born. It's the method of conception that's different. In fact, in reproductive cloning, the clone is not completely identical to the original, only the nuclear DNA is. Mitochondrial DNA, which does play a large role in how a creature is, is different from the donor.

I doubt that uniqueness or sexual reproduction is required for a spiritual destiny. If so, all of those critters that reproduce asexually are having serious problems.

A clone would possess no Spirit, for the spirit only dwells in the donor. Man is a Triune Being, possessing a spirit, soul and body. The spirit is that part that can think & reason & commune with God. The soul is the seat of emotions ie:Love, Hate, Fear, envy, Jellousy & lusts. The body is where the Spirit & soul dwell. A clone (since it has no spirit) is a creature of emotion & instinct, litterally an animal. All animals can fear, hate etc, they have souls but no spirit, and are not subject to reason & communion with God. It is possible that the anti-Christ could be one, for he is called "the Beast." He has no compassion or love for mankind. He is simply driven by the soul and all it's lusts. He is full of the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh & the pride of life (self-importance). That is just speculation on my part, but it is as good as any body else's speculation, since not much is said about him & his origin.

You no longer in basic terms assume that there is a god, yet that he assigns souls. i'm gonna reword the question somewhat right here, to be a lot less religiously bias: "would a clone have a distinct and seperate expertise from its unique?" And the answer is very nearly a particular "certain," as hence the actual undeniable reality that the in basic terms similarity between both is their DNA. Their time body, interactions, and memories would all be different, and the in basic terms thanks to attempt this will be to have a distinct expertise. And a distinct epigenetic code, if you're into that sorta aspect.

A clone would be an individual with an individual consciousness, just like each of us have. You may call it a soul if you like, so I'll use that term for the purposes of this answer.

Identical twins, who share the same DNA, have unique souls.

A clone is simply a unique individual who shares the DNA of whomever he/she was cloned from. It wouldn't pick up from that point in the person's life, or anything like in Multiplicity. It would be an individual just like everyone else.

The soul is the combination of flesh and spirit. Spirit comes from God thus a clone, not coming from God would have no soul. To clone an animal is one thing , to clone a human is another. We are made in the image of God. A clone would be made in the image of man. That sounds really scary to me.

great question, wish I knew the correct answer. but just taking a guess, I would have to say that it would probably not have a soul.. they can clone a body but not a soul. only God can create a soul.

i don't believe in soul like other people, i consider it as a very secondary worthless things, may be they are something like DVDs, but they are not an essential part of us which is our bodies including the brains. remember that twins are natural clones, but they are different.

A clone is just an identical twin, so it would have it's own soul.
