Maybe because whenever someone wants someone to try something new, they always say " It tastes like chicken !!"
That implies that chicken tastes pretty darn good. I haven't seen anyone figure out how to give tofu the right texture or flavor. Chickens as a species seem to have specialized in being food for millions of years. And if you don't believe in millions of years, then you already know that Ghod put chickens here for us to eat !

i feel bad for the chickens, but KFC is soooo yummy! i will refrain myself to their biscuits and mashed potatoes and gravy! SIR! but it is wrong wat fast food restraunts are doing to the animals. i am totally against animal cruelty(but could never give up my meet!) i didnt read the link u put but i heard a little wats going down. fsat food restraunts are just plain BAD!(but i love em'!)

I know i think it is horrible. I wish US would help some how, I think they should be in Africa instead of Iraq
