It depends how you have it in your hair. If its sewed in then you can leave it in for like 2months but if its glued in then go only 3 weeks cause it will look a mess. If you have a 6 month weave then its right there or infusions a year a lace front wig every three to four weeks redo it.

When it gets difficult to comb or pick because there is so much new growth (more than 1 1/2 - 2 inches) and you begin getting matting.

when people start seeing your tracks and it look all nasty and u see people whispering behind your back then its time 2 change your weave
