yep still good....I put them in a freezer bag, and freeze until I am ready to make banana bread, you can make them into baby food, flavor your morning oatmeal... OR...

you can also use banana peels for itchy skin..poison ivy and stuff...really weird but it works. My husband thought I smelled good...lol Just rub the inside of the peel on the itch...... so if you don't want to eat it, use it to stop the itching....lol.

yeah they are still good. If they are blacka nd smell bad then no. I would say for the brown ones that are a little mushy make some banana bread. They are the best for banana bread and it is sooooo good right out of the oven with some warm butter on it.

I am hungry now.

Brown spots on the peel signfy that the banana is ripe and is at its best flavor. Bananas that have turned completely brown are overripe but still usable in ricipies like banana nut bread, banana daquaris, and banana pudding to name a few.

Bananas with brown spots are GREAT, especially if there is no bruising. They are extremely sweet, and excellent tasting. Even better for baking. Once they have been bruised, though, thats a different story. If they are mushy, then they really arent much good for anything.

They are still good as far as not being spoiled; bananas ripen
quickly. To eat, I prefer mine with just a few brown spots. When they get more than that I consider them overripe and use them in baking (quick breads, cakes etc.).

Yes they definatly are still good but it depends on how you like the taste my friends grandma use to let them get all very brown and even mushy and she loved them and they were the best in banana bread....they wont go bad...and also depends on what kind of temo your keeping them in I would say.....but they are not bad if they have some brown spots on them...

If the spots are on the skin, its ok... but if the flesh is mushy, then u better throw it away.... sometimes the darker the skin of the banana becomes, the tastier the flesh becomes... but do watchout for worms...cos flies luv to lay eggs in bananas.

Bananas with brown spots are sweeter and the more spots the better if you are gonna make banana bread!

Yes. They are the best when they are overripe.....a few brown spots are fine. They are sweeter like that, and my grandma refuses to make a banana pudding without overripe ones.....lol So go ahead and eat them....youll live!!!
