acrimony, hate and hostilities wrought on the world over their worship, could it be a manifestation of war between the deities. Does man have any bussiness worshipping ever-wrangling gods and suffering as a result.

The Gods are not "wrangling," it is man who is doing that. Have you thought that maybe God has many names and man has a problem understanding that. What is correct is what is correct for you.
