I can type well, I just wanted to know if there is a place online where I can take the test and get my certificate for free.

I did not find a free Typing Certificate (last year they were free).
You can e-mail the typing results to yourself from this website: http://www.typingtest.com (after you take the test.)
Print the typing test results for yourself and for the person requesting the Typing Certificate.

even if you have a "certificate" if you can't type you will be found out when you're given a typing test.
Employers won't just take your word for it, they will want to see how well you can do the job they are interested in hiring you for and typing is one of those things they commonly test prior to employment.
