I would if they had any real facts to face. The wisdom of the world is foolishness with God. The Bible said the world was round when science said it was flat, the Bible explained the rain,water cycle before science understood it, the Bible said the earth hung upon nothing when at the time science thought the earth sat on the back of a giant turtle or was held up by Atlas, and the Bible will help explain more if you let it.

because they have been brought up and preached into believing the fact that Heaven is real. A fact that the preacher himself does not know for sure. The believe the books written thousand's of years ago in a language that's intepreted in whatever way possible, but the current language that science uses is undigestible to these people. These are the same people who don't believe in science but run to a doctor for all medical treatments.

Oh, you mean all those scientists who are starting to see that science supports Intelligent Design?
Or are you talking about the "facts" of a carbon dating system that is so flawed it mistaked a current chicken bone for a fossil?
Or are you talking about the "facts" that took a tooth found in Nebraska and formulated an entire theory about the pre-historic man it came from -- until it was found out to be a pig's tooth?
Many scientists who have tried to study evolution are seeing the serious flaws in it and how it doesn't really explain things near as well as having an Intelligent Designer behind the origin of the universe.

They're scared of hell and bigotted by their religion. If some one said God said so then nothing else is even a possibility, to the more extreme ones anyways, who will tell you their the real faithful. They'd do anything to avoid change or having to think on their own, hence so many deaths in the name of so many religions
It really isn't rational because there are no facts in religion, they just demand blind faith and fear from altering the path so that they don't lose any followers. Plus the only place they look for scientific fact is in their own Bible or other religious publications so they only get biased bigotted opinions feed to their already dulled minds.

Lets see what science says.
In II Peter 2, verses 1 and 2, it says that there are going to be teachers who mock the teaching of Jesus Christ dying for our sins. I Corinthians 15, verses 3 and 4 says Christ died for our sins, he was buried and he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. Now, if the resurrection is just symbolical, then the death must be symbolical. His death was literal. His resurrection is literal. If you don't keep the resurrection, you cannot go to heaven and that is Romans chapter 10, verses 9 and 10. You must accept the literal bodily resurrection of Christ.
Taking the bible literally, it was Sir Isaac Newton and today he's claimed by the scientists of the world to be the greatest mind scientifically to ever exist in history, said just before Christ returns, ministers will mock the idea of a literal Bible. And Sir Anderson who did the 70 weeks of Daniel 9:24 said the same thing. They will mock the literal interpretation of the Holy Word of God. Stick to it and believe what it says literally.

I think Science may be your religion. You should not have such blind faith in these men in white robes(lab coats). Use your own free will to come out of the occult.
Seriously, too many scientist trying to compete for too few grant $ leads to them always having to come up with something that just isn't there. Some people criticize religion as being corrupted by money but do you guys ever consider that your precious religion of science might be rotten.

it depends on religious group.
let say for Sevethday Adventist church, they believe that human existence on earth is 6000 yrs, while facts about java man, ice man and other discoveries, man existed/live on earth as 20,000 yrs and some even more.
Others believe that God use the literal 24 hrs per day of creation of every thing, while science facts shows univers to be existed billions of years ago.
The way we believe is different from them, we believe that bible is an exact science. However, there are religious group misunderstood the scriptures or even intentionally misused the scriptures.

Science asks questions that religion can't answer, or answers questions that religion won't answer. As far as religion is concerned, God created the universe, but science says that everything in the universe was already here and everything went the way it was supposed to. Religion says that God created man, while science says evolution created everything on this planet. Good luck figuring that one out!

Jehovah God created everything. Don't you read the Bible? He created Science as well. You shouyld be thinking him today that you are alive. And many have different beliefs. Like you appear to be Athiest, well I'm a JW and I can believe what I want to and I believe that God is the creator of everything. Not Science

There is a big difference between what religion teaches and what the Bible says. Example. It is NOT the world that was created 8,000 years ago, but man. Do the maths and check out the ages of the Jewish patriarchs at Genesis chapter 5 then cross match it with the geneology of Jesus at Matthew ch. 1 and Luke ch. 3. If you are not familiar with these scriptures, it would indicate further study is needed. The Bible does NOT disagree with scientists in the 'possible' age of the earth at 4.5 billion years old. It simply states that God created the heavens [ suns, planets, galaxies] AND the earth. It implies that to God, the earth is very special. Revelation 11;18 warns those who pollute it. And then we have the evidence of dinosaur bones. They were long extinct before man appeared on the scene. Job 40;
15 Here, now, is Be·he´moth that I have made as well as you.
Green grass it eats just as a bull does.
16 Here, now, its power is in its hips,
And its dynamic energy in the tendons of its belly.
17 It bends down its tail like a cedar;
The sinews of its thighs are interwoven.
18 Its bones are tubes of copper;
Its strong bones are like wrought-iron rods.
This could be a description of a dinosaur. And there is no reason to think that their bones were not discovered in the days of the Bible writers.
And the Bible writers were very aware of the constellations of the stars. Job 9;9...38; 31,32...Amos 5;. 8 The Maker of the Ki´mah constellation and the Ke´sil constellation, and the One turning deep shadow into the morning itself, and the One who has made day itself dark as night, the One calling for the waters of the sea, that he may pour them out upon the surface of the earth—Jehovah is his name; And did the Bible writers know the earth was round? Yes!. Isaiah 40;22 There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth, the dwellers in which are as grasshoppers, the One who is stretching out the heavens just as a fine gauze, who spreads them out like a tent in which to dwell,
And did the bible writers know what the earth looked like from space? Yes!. Job 26; 7 He is stretching out the north over the empty place,
Hanging the earth upon nothing;
So it is religion that is messed up, not the Bible.
