Thank you for serving in the U.S. military and protecting our country. All of you (veterans) should be praised more often and given higher pay.. (instead of our politicians wasting our tax money). thank you molly!...your kind words are an inspiration to all veterans especially me, i retired from the military in 05 after 26 years of service to this great country of ours and it brings great joy to my heart to hear from such wonderful people such as yourself, and i will pass this on to my extended family member in country, and don't get yourself all flustered over people on this forum who put vets down its not worth the stress nor worthy of your time, you see molly we as veterans gave them the rights to speak their minds and so they do, it doesn't mean we have to like what they say but this is their right and as much as i don't like it i still respect their freedom of speech....no matter how ignorant and disrespectful it might be. any time on this forum that i see someone like yourself who shows great care for the men and woman who have served this country so courageously and at times with great sacrifice i feel compelled to respond to let them know just how much i care because it means more to me than you will ever know and it proves to me that their are still some good caring and compassionate people in this country....let me leave you with this Psalm we have in the Rangers....then i heard the voice the LORD saying, whom shall i send ? and who will go for us?" and i said, "here i am send me!.....god bless you Molly and may God show guidance to those who have so much hate in their hearts.

i would like to disagree with Black Sabbath. Are you in the military? they dont get paid JACK **** for being in a war zone. whoopie, we get housing, and ya theyve got pretty decent life insurance, but im pretty sure that im not the only one that would rather be able to hold onto my husband rather then some ****** money. i hate how people atomatically think they are right about everything. now your fact before you run your mouth, that **** straight up pisses me off. if they get paid so good, why dont you join.

I completely agree that our military needs more support. Nothing makes me more angry than somebody bashing our troops. Even my 11 yr old stands up for our troops.
Black Sabbath wrote that our military gets paid well considering they don't pay for food and housing. However, THEY GET SHOT AT DAILY! Combat pay!

Soldiers are paid quite well considering they rarely have to pay for food or housing, and receive many benifits including schooling.
