I need everyone to email me if your a victim or a family member of a victim that has been killed or caused bodily harm. I have been trying to get the Federal Government to take a look at this - Hit and Runs are on the rise and are used to umbrella other criminal activities. I am going to Ottawa in Septemeber and Need Your Help. I require: name, age, date, location, injuries and if the case was solved or unsolved and what sentence was handed out to the accused. I greatly appreciate your help.

about 12 years ago a woman was killed in a hit and run right in front of my house. The guy came back an hour later, cuz he felt guilty, otherwise te wouldnt have caught him.
He did a few years, and is out now.
unfortunalty the womans family went trough hell that year, right after the trial, the womans father died, then her 17 year old daughter had to take care of the family. Her long time boyfriend offered to marry her. on the way to the wedding he was killed by a drunk driver.
she couldnt afford her parents house on her own raising 3 siblings. the state split the family up and one of the kids comitted suicide, the other got into drugs, and somthing happened and he is now paralyzed.

Years ago I lost a cousin to a HIT & RUN, He was playing ball in our yard ball rolled out in the street and car hit him and kept going., saddest day in our life. Anyways I was so upset so many things was taking place back then I want to say this person was caught then again I remember a family member saying that they were not, You made me remember a very painful time back then but as we know life goes on so I will be doing some investigating myself. my cousin was killed by a drunk driver while crossing at a light... i cant realease her name but i can tell you the location, age and date.. flordia, around mid twenties and date april 18th, 2004 2:00am. i gather unsolved... i havent heard anything new from aunt and uncle.
i am truely sorry for your loss.
