That would be a real neat trick for a dead person.

(Mother Teresa rocked, that's for sure!)

The Jesuits were able with the help of the Pope's direct link with God to re animate Her body. As the Beautification process had already begun they couldn't Un Saint the grand old Doll so She became a living Saint. Sadly She just wanders around a closed part of the Vatican saying "Brains" all day and several members of the clergy have gone missing. When will they learn.

well she WAS the living saint for all the good she did for the poor and ill, but since she is DEAD now, she is no longer thought of as the LIVING saint
and just a note, Mother Theresa of Calcutta and the last pope are both on the "fast track" to sainthood according to the Roman Catholic Church, something unheard of

She died in 1997. She was considered a living Saint because she truly lived every moment of her life for Jesus and saw him within every person she met - which is what all Christians are called to do, each of us is called to be a saint. She did not fear those who had leprosy, or other diseases and saught only that those who were dying in the street have a place of dignity to die. She took care of anyone that crossed her path. She acted as we are all called to act towards our fellow man. She embodied what it is to love our neighbour as he loved us.

She is the epitomy of beauty.

She is now referred to Blessed Teresa of Calcutta and is currently undergoing the canonization process of becoming a Saint in the Catholic church.

I hope this helps answer your question.

Because many people aren't aware of what is required to be a saint. In order to be a saint, one has to die in the grace of God and in the Catholic Church. Mother Theresa, while she was a wonderfully naturally good person, we cannot be sure that she is in Heaven. Proclaimed saints are required to have three miracles done after their death and she has none that have been fully proven, just wild speculations.

Modern "Catholics" (most are not truly Catholic) are just so crazy about naming everyone a saint it's ridiculous.

The bible calls the body of Christ saints so you dont have to be dead to be considered a saint. That's paganism.

Good night all,

Saint Rico

That's just a title the catholics placed on her. She is no different than anyone else. She was a good God loving God serving woman, who I hope accepted Jesus as her savior before she died. Catholics do not teach about salvation. If Mother teressa died and was never saved though acceptance of Jesus as her savior, all her good works were all for nothing. She will not get to heaven with out accepting Jesus as her savior.
