My guess is you probably have little ones at home? When my kids were younger, I felt the same way. But, the older they got and the more they became involved with school activities, the more my attitude changed. They were always busy doing this and that, having to help them with homework and projects and whatever. Summertime they can just be kids and have a lot of free and unstructured time to do....stuff and they don't necessarily need my "help" with that. Once they learn to drive, it's even better, so hang in there!

I can wait.I'm still up half the night with the baby,so getting up that early will not be easy for me.It's just nice right now that we all can sleep late and have more serenity without the morning rush and daily hassles that come with it.Before the baby,I was always ready for school. Now,I've slowed down,so has my ten year old,and it's just kind of nice not to have a strict routine. All good things come to an end.Sigh.
