The only way to get over your anger problem, is to find the source of your anger. It usually stems from something inside that you have hidden. Talking to someone like a therapist or someone you can really trust will help. Hopefully you have good outlets to your anger. Its fine to get angry, but its how you deal with those feelings that can become a problem. You have to learn to let somethings go. Hope this helps. :)

Because anger works and you are addicted to the things it brings you...
Do people you interact with either leave you alone or compensate to provide "maintenance" to deflect your anger?
Look for what is running you - what is your payoff?
Keep in mind being angry is a choice and you can always make a new one. If you are serious ask your close friends to "call you out" when they "feel the heat" of your anger.
Treat it like an addiction and your on your way to recovery... one day at a time - relapses and all.
Or not.

Sometimes, it's not about getting over it, but about getting the proper medication. Some people do have anger issues that can by cured by medicine. Other times, it could just be a lack of patience or understanding.

I have the same problem as you.
I know this might be hard, but try not to say anything when you're angry, also something else that might help is a punching bag. You let out all your anger on the punching bag, plus you do exercises.

Whenever someone makes you angry, think of something that makes you happy instead. Also, find a productive outlet for your anger. If you hold it all inside, it will end up making you sick. Try kickboxing. You get to kick the tar out of something! You can pretend it is your enemy. Also, archery is a good outlet. You can envision your enemy's face in place of the target.

Eat a bannana. Replace your electrolytes. Cammomille tea. Find time for yourself and address your agendas each day as to what you can do today and what you can do tomorrow so you do not feel overwhelmed. Find time to laugh at yourself or with others more often. I do not know your age but high blood pressure is a sign of stress which if brought down can improve things a lot.

anger is a gift. It is a sign that something is wrong in your life. Recognize your problems and deal with them in a constructive way.
