Moles can appear at any time in your life...
Check out this website:

I get about 5-10 new moles a year...usually in areas that get the most sun exposure. I have been to a dermatologist several times and been reassured that new moles are normal, and that the ones I have are not cancerous.
If you have a large number of moles, you may want to go for a cancer skin screen once a year or every few years...but most are normal.
Good luck!

Yeah. It is most likely nothing, but just to keep your mind at ease and to stop yourself from worrying, I recommend just getting a checkup with your GP. It'll only take five minutes for him or her to look at it, and that sure beats hours of worry. It usually isn't normal for a mole to just pop up, however it may not be cancerous, it may just be an effect from the sun.
Hope everything turns out just fine.

No, you should see your doctor about it. Moles appearing out of nowhere, changing shape, color, or size can be a sign of skin cancer. Not always, but it is a good idea to see your doc about it.

No, it is not normal. Check with your doctor and you might even want a referral to a dermatologist.

Oh you need to go to you dermatologist asap and have that thing examine. If you have a HMO you will need to see your (PCP) reg. doctor first. Please have it looked at. Being that your pregnant, you are looking out for two now.
