We have been talking since Jan. of this year but got close recently. We both are single with kids, and I went to go meet his entire family this past weekend. I love his family and they love me. My dilemma is that he is from NC and I live in GA. We are only 4 hours apart, which is not a problem, but he is a truck driver and loves his job, and I have an awesome job that pays well, and I don't want to leave my job. I thought about transferring to another location closer to him, but there are none with openings close enough. Also, he still wouldn't be home except for on weekends, which is when I can see him now. I broke up with him because I didn't see that this could possibly go anywhere, but I'm not happy with that decision. He is a great person and we have fun together. We both are relaxed around each other and make each other laugh. I guess what I'm trying to say is he is perfect for me, with the exception of our circumstances. What should I do?

Sounds like love---if the feelings are mutual --go for it---do whatever you have to do to make it work------don't let it slip away--you'll regret it later---sit down with a piece of paper and list all of the pros and cons of the relationship---be honest with yourself---then look at the list and and maybe you'll see that there's more pros than cons or vice versa---a strong relationship takes hard work---but the rewards are awesome---it's hard to keep all the emotions and feelings straight in your head---they get all mixed up -- try writing it down like I said--and see what you get---sometimes it's easier to find an answer when it's right there in front of your face in black and white---good luck and be happy

if this relationship is what you really want then why not just
try to get together some where where is will work out for
both of you since you are both happy with your jobs. somewhere
in the middle sort of speaking.if it worth having then it worth'
the small sacificies that both of you will have to make to make
this work.
