When reading about Jägermeister I've seen that people keep it in the freezer, does it freeze, or just end up a really cold liquid?

Alcohol freezes at a much lower temperature than water. It just keeps it really cold in the freezer.

Most liquors with a high alcohol content freeze at a much lower temperature (because solutions created from water freeze at a lower point, and alcohol and water infinitely dissolve each other). Most drinks end up somewhat syrupy though. You can also freeze most vodkas and rums and like I said anything of decent (40+) proof.

It won't freeze in a home freezer, I guess if you had some liquid nitrogen you could freeze it that way.

Jager will freeze... if you dip it into liquid nitrogen. Most people keep their liquors in the freezer to keep it cool and keep it somewhat hidden. (Out of sight, Out of mind) I prefer my alcohol at warmer temps though because I am wierd so I like to keep my alcohol in the refer. I think it is the syrup-ish texture of it when ice cold..

It does not freeze since it contains alcohol. My son always kept/keeps his Jagermeister in the freezer.

alcohol doesn't freeze. so, if you ever put something in the freezer that's not straight alcohol, ie apple pucker, make sure you give it a gentle shake before swigging out of the bottle. believe me, i found out the hard way.

Yum...Jagermeister. Defiantly put it in the freezer. Also consider picking up some red bull. Have fun!

Alchohal does not freeze (really high freezing point), but it goes down smoother when you are oding shots of something cold. I keep my tequila and vodka in there too!

It won't freeze, but it will become thicker and flow more slowly.

Even vodka will flow perceptibly slower at freezer temps.
