Complete the child support process. They will take the money directly out of his check and he does not need to agree to that. If your baby is 6 months and he does not come around imagine how he would be if he was suppose to drop off money.

Huh?

Why would consider marrying this guy? You had to pursue him for child support and now he wants to be married with you and have another kid? If you don't believe that he's a truck driver, why would you believe he'd be a good husband and father?

This guy is confused! I'd say run from this guy and just deal with the courts to collect the child support.

He may think that a promise to marry you will cause you to drop your pursuit of child support.

Or maybe if you hold-off on petitioning for child support for a while it will give him time to reduce the hours he's working so that when he provides proof of income it will appear that he is making less money and you'll get less.

This sounds shady to me. Especially since he has an excuse for not seeing his daughter much.

Watch out!!

what is the different of living together, having common law married or being married???I'd say wait for a year or so to marry and you don't need to be married to have another child..the child will still have the same mom and dad...what ever you do,don't drop the child support, because if you do drop it and then you break up,you got to do it all over again.......and being a truck driver,it takes alot of love from one person to keep them honest,I'm a truck driver,I hear and I see what takes place out there...

he is a LOSER take him to court and get your child support the state will eventually make him pay or put him in jail for not paying. If he is not interested in the child he has with you now why
would you consider having another child with him or even marrying him. Run as fast as you can back to the sane side of life make a life for yourself and your daughter you will thank yourself later.

He wants to marry you and have another child with you and he's hardly visited the daughter you already have with him, his marriage offer came after the child support
order. I would say he's up to something !!! Don't even consider that at this point !!!!!

Make him pay child support and take your time to see if that is the reason he wants to marry you

sounds like another deadbeat dad mine left when i was 3. I swore i would never ever do that to my daughter. shes 10 now and i have never missed a payment. Im sorry that hes trying to pull that on you. you really should make him pay what he has been ordered. If he mans up and pays like he is supposed too then maybe give the guy a shot, to be a family.

Tell him no matter what, he still owes the back child support, and I'll bet that he will run. For your well being and your childs, please don't marry him. He is proving with this that he will use you to his advantage. Don't give him the satisfaction.

your county has a child support agency at the courthouse (or in a social services building). talk to them. they will see that you get child support for the baby. i don't think you should have another baby. keep your knees together.
