A wet nose on dogs and cats is very normal. This is a sign of healthiness. Believe me, they are fine. If the dog has a dry and warm nose then that suggests tthe dog is not feeling well. A wet nose is perfectly normal.

So far everyone is wrong.

The moisture (or lack there of) on your dog's nose is not an outright sign something is wrong. Be concerned if it is extremely dry (like showing signs of cracking, chapped lips kinda thing). Also be concerned if it's extremely wet (to the point where it's actually running, dripping down with snot). But even an extremely wet nose can be nothing more than a minor cold or something allergy caused that'll just clear up in a day or two.

You know your dog best. If he's showing no other signs of being ill, he's probably fine. Just keep an eye on it and the dog.

If a dog's nose is wet and cold, then it's healthy. If it's hot and dry, then it has a fever.

it means they are feeling good, so if they ever get a dry nose, they aren't feeling well, so you need to watch out for them.
