I am 19 and it seems like only older men ask me out or hit on me. My ex is 27. I just got asked out by a 33yr old just the other day. And just today a man in his 30s was hitting on me. I just don't understand why these older men would want to try to have a relationship with someone that much younger.

I wouldn't concentrate on physical appearance as much as the presence with which you carry yourself. Men, intelligent men, like women who carry themselves well. If you are articulate, smart, well coifed . . . men of all ages will hit on you. You may be just WAY too intimidating for most men your age to hit on you. Politely tell these older guys that you appreciate the attention but you really don't date people older than 5 years (or something like that).

Because many of us prefer a young woman with a bit less experience, which means she's less likely to be excessively critical of us or overly demanding. A fair number of younger women actually prefer a man several years older for the same reasons. We also tend to be more stable and better off financially. And we often prefer to date someone who hasn't a lot of baggage to bring to a relationship - like a troublesome ex. Many of us are leery of initiating a relationship with a woman older than you are because she's likely to have children, and we're not comfortable with the necessity of establishing a relationship with the kids, too. That does not mean we dislike kids, just that we recognize what an emotional minefield it can be for all concerned - us older guys, the older woman and her children.
Yes, a few of us wanna be the first one to "pop" a virgin, but those guys are easy to spot and avoid - they usually haven't the wherewithal to earn "it", frankly.
How you respond is really up to you - but be aware that a good many long-lasting, loving relationships involve a woman your age and a man ten or more years her senior...my squeeze and I are that far apart in age and we've been married for sixteen years. She tells me every day I'm the light of her life - bless her! If the old farts make you uncomfortable, just tell 'em thanks but no thanks and forget it.

Age holds few boundaries. A lot of guys like PYTs regardless of age. I'm sure you get hit on by guys of all ages, you just seem to notice the older ones.
It could be that you send out vibes more towards older men than you do your own age and this is why they seem attracted to you more.
Don't knock it. They have experience, probably a lot more money and can get you in to places a 20y/o may not. ;o)

Healthy men like women. Young, old, skinny, fat, fit, black, white, brown, red, whatever. Women, women, women, and women. If men are looking at you then "that's great." I would start to worry if even OLDER MEN STOP ASKING YOU OUT. Enjoy the attention while you're getting it. Once you hit your mid 30's...things will probably slow down for you...unless you are fit and still as my ten year old would say, "have some nice junk in your trunk."

Women often see men's flirtation with younger women as an attempt to relive glory days, but in my estimation it is more about the energy a younger woman has. Her outlook, her personality, pretty much her aura is bright. There's just that energy that pulsates in youth that gets covered by responsibility in age. Men can never recapture that, and so they find it incredibly enchanting in a younger woman.

OH MY GOD! me too! I am 20! It started when I was fifteen! the first guy who asked my out was 28! (well, I didn't go out with him coz I thought it was freaky back then...) I have had 36, 45 years old men hitting on me. I am sorry I don't really know why either.
