No. Returning soldiers do not get a bonus when getting back from Iraq. Some soldiers re-enlisted while deployed and some will get a bonus for that, but for the most part, most will not get any money when coming home.

Their income while in a combat zone is not taxable so they do save some money that way and they get a danger pay that entitles them to a little more money each month as they are subjected to hazardous work environments.

that is atypical. His kinfolk in all probability placed on his truck "welcome living house from Iraq" for his homecoming that is extremely basic. I did end telling human beings I only have been given lower back from Iraq and prevented the verbal substitute as a results of fact it may get stressful speaking approximately it with those style of human beings you don't be conscious of. My guess is that the service member ether had subjects previous the war or the guy that stated welcome lower back threw in a "i do no longer help the war, yet i'm happy you made it lower back secure" I actual have heard that some cases, and could additionally see why that ought to piss him off.
