Where in the Bible do it talk about Jesus return? I keep hearing that Jesus is gonna come when war breaks out in Jerusalam. Where in the Bible does it say that?

It's in the last book Revelations. It's a good bedtime story if you want nightmares.

But don't worry too much. This war will be over soon enough. Iran is just trying to prove that we shouldn't mess with them. They really don't want a fight.

There are several books that addresses Jesus Return and the last days but Matthew, 1 Timothy and Revelation are three to answer your question. Jesus disciples had heard Christ talk about the "Last Days and the coming Day of the Lord" and that is when Jesus, in Matthew 24:1 - 25:26. This also corresponds to the time period mentioned in Revelation Chapter 6 & 7 about end time events. There is no specific date given for Christ to come however there is signs that will preceed the historic events and the signs will testify that God is about to move and His plan is about to take place. WE Christians don't know the exact hour or day but the season Christ tells us that we can recognize before or ask it's happening (1 Thes 4:13 - 5:11). Christ will come twice actually. Once in the air to call his and Gods protected people and then a second time to come as ruler and defeat the forces against Israel in that final conflict. As for what's gonig to today it could lead to that time or it doesn't have to the Bible remains true to God's word regardless of what seems to be happening or will happen. Don't get too discouraged if it isn't the time yet but continue to pray for Israel and Gods children that they make it through.

the return of the messiah is pretty much a theme throughout the bible, although there is some confusion over whether we are talking the first appearance of the messiah (the Jewish perspective) or the return of the Jesus (the Christian perspective).

As to the time of His return being at the same time as "war breaks out in Jerusalem" that is a little less concensus there

The following site gives many scriptures that most bible scholars believe relate to the appearances of the Messiah. As always, there would be some disagreement about some of these prophecies but in general, I think the scriptures there are representative

The actual arrival of Jesus is unknown even to the angels in heaven. None can predict when Christ will return, but the book revelations does give us insight as to certain events that announce the "end of times". So the war going on now with Israel and Hezbollah could or could not be a sign of the coming of Christ. However, we as Christians must stand with Israel, because they are the chosen people of God. Finally, God is the only one who knows when the arrival of Christ will happen; whether it be 1yr from now or 100yrs from now. Personally I believe that the coming of the Lord is indeed near, because of the rise of war in the middle east, a watering down of the bible in today's society, as well as the growing hatred toward Christians by the world.

"Where in the world is Carmen san diego?" Damn that was a dumb show, and game. And now the song is stuck in my head.

Anyway, the bible mentions it many times, but revelation is the "preminition" of what is to come. Read it, but be warned, it is kinda creepy.

And btw, just having a war in Jerusalam isn't a for sure sign. Many things have to happen, including israeal becomming a state, which btw happen what 50 years ago?

The word "Rapture", meaning the calling u of the church prior to Jesus's second coming is never actually used in the Bible, but a lot of people confuse it with Christ's return. Jesus return will occur after 7 years of terrible suffering. His second coming will be directly after the Battle of Armageddon. It's talked about in the last chapters of Revelation.

It is not said in clear terms anywhere in the Bible. Rather there is discrepancy between the version of St. John and that of Mark with regard to his resurrection. It is also widely believed to day that Jesus did not die on the Cross. He lived up to 90+ and was for long in India in Kashmir region. So also, statements regarding his likely coming during war in Jerusalem is a publicity stunt by irrational lot among Christians, which ultimately defames Christianity.

The main book in the Bible that talks about Christ's return is revelation, although many books in both the Old and New Testament mentions it. There is Daniel, and Ezekial in the Old Testament, while in the New Testament Matthew, Mark, and Luke all talk about the signs that tells of Christs second appearance.

The bible says they'll be wars and rumors of wars, but there is much more to Christ's return than just war in jerusalem, there's much more that has to happen first. To read about some of the events leading up to the end times, read MATTHEW chapter 24.
