Soldiers are in need of hemlet upgrade kits. They make the helmets they wear safer and more comfortable. I guess they are in really high demand. Check out this site for more info

Fair winds and smooth sailing!

These items were what we were asked to send because the water isn't that great and because you can send several and they could be shared with the
units

These are the small items usually 99 cents up to a buck fifty.
Hand wipes, bacteria hand wash, toothpaste and toothbrushes,
soaps, things like that.

Food, goodies, candy, pictures of the family, underwear and t-shirts,shampoo, soap and toothpaste and brushes. Underarm deodorant; books to read, hand held games and packs of gum. Post cards with stamps they can send back to you. Music cd's...and dvd's all of the guys can share. They will love anything you send.

A homemade treat, like peanut brittle would be perfect because it lasts long. Or perhaps chocolate bark? Something you made and put your heart into, along with a really sweet letter of appreciation!

If you can't send helmet upgrade kits and just have a little to spend, send gum, bright and happy greeting cards and lots of letters letting them know how much we all appreciate what they are doing for all of us.

Something a little less practical would be smutty letters. They would get a kick out of those, and it is something the grade schoolers and churches wouldn't have sent!
