Think about it, this whole thing is too bizarre... United States the country that is always against any war, and the first one to come interfear, is now totally ok with a brutal war! I'm sorry I ain't buying it! What's in for them?!

The US worked their diplomatic magic to push Syrian troops out, and they were the only thing protecting Lebanon. Now it's easy pickins for the Israelis, isn't it? All this over two kidnapped soldiers? If they had been killed instead of kidnapped, this would have all been over long ago. I'm not big on conspiracy theories, but I can't help but think that, in this case, there's more going on than meets the eye.

If you think that Israel is the U.S.'s only ally in the Middle East, you may be overlooking some information about the Israeli's feelings about that "friendship". Please see the links below for the story of the USS Liberty, which was attacked by air and sea by the Israeli military, killing 34 service members aboard and wounding 171. See the links about Israeli moles and spies in the US and Israelis dancing in the streets on 9/11.

Please note that I'm not a socialist, I'm not anti-Semitic, and I'm certainly not pro-terrorism. I'm just a bit dismayed that so many Americans consider people who do things like this to be their "friends" and excuse everything they do and continue to give them billions of dollars in loan guarantees and other financial aid. And anyone who just questions this is branded anti-Semitic, which seems to be the worst thing in the universe that a person could be. What's with this blind devotion to every policy and action of a State that spies on the US, attacks and kills its seamen, and sees the deaths of thousands in the WTC on 9/11 to be a reason to do a "happy dance"? Does that make any sense???

It is not for America to step in to every conflict and police the world. The conflict going on right now is as old as recorded history and it is not for us or anyone else to step in and tell them not to engage.
