The religion I am referring to inidicates a limited amount of space in heaven, yet has the largest evangelist population. Spends millions each year on publications to help spread the word, and convert new followers. Does this make sense? If heaven really is limited on the amount of people it can hold, and this religion claims to have converted 234,000 people last year alone, aren't these folks selling their own spot in heaven? Why risk it? This is not relgion bashing, so if you have negative comments, direct them elsewhere.

You have a very good point. I wonder if it makes people think of the legitimacy of religion and it's rigidness.

He talks about a Pre-tribulation Rapture and the Tribulation is that seven-year period of judgment on earth – Revelation chapters 6 to 18 – because we go up in chapter 4 and it only begins in chapter 6. We call it a pre-tribulation Rapture and the Rapture is I Thessalonians 4 verses 16 to 18, when the dead in Christ rise and the living go up with them to meet the Lord in the air and all in the twinkling of an eye, I Corinthians 15:52.

However, during the seven-year period of Tribulation, the greatest revival in history occurs as 144,000 evangelists swarm the world in Revelation 7 verses 4 to 8, and they are preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom – Matthew 24:14. The King is coming and a multitude like the sands of the sea, Revelation 7:9, is converted and verse 14 says, “They came out of the Great Tribulation and washed their robes, made them white in the blood of the Lamb." Because of it, death comes to those new converts during that seven-year period in Revelation 6:9, 13:50 and Revelation 20 verse 4. Now Christ comes back with His saints, Jude 14, and Daniel 12:2 - the Old Testament Jews are raised and at that point, all those who died during the Tribulation are also raised. I hope that answers your question.

Did you see where the 144,000 are coming from?

This sure is going to disappoint some JW's. but. O'well.

snickerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Good question. I know you noticed how many answers didn't
pick up on Evangelistics (sp?).
Are these the people
who practice polygamy? Maybe they're getting recruits to take
their place while they're in jail.
Or maybe they know that, eventually their gonnna get caught
for fixing the 2004 election & will be away at jail for that,
therefor replacements will be needed.
If none of the above - Maybe they're so brainwashed that
what you asked never occurred to them. That would be very sad.
I think this may come under negative - but I can't think of
a positive answer.

The Jehovah's Witnesses dont SELL anything. All literature is offered on a donation basis only. If you want the literature and would like to donate...thats great...if you want the literature and dont want to or cant donate...thats great to.
They believe that 144,000 are going to live in heaven...and the rest of gods righteous people will inhabit the earth. Which is why the earth was created...for mankind to live forever on it.
They are not trying to reserve spots in heaven, nor are they trying to convince people they will go to heaven if they become a JW. They are merely doing what was commanded of them..."GO therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations...."

I truly believe that ..God being an all wise and knowing God allowed these organizations..which it doesn't bother me to name...to flourish and prosper..because in by doing so they have had to change their doctrines to accommodate the growth...that they had over the years...Jehovah's witnesses at first said 144,000..then as time progressed..changed not the number ..but where the rest of the poor bloaks who didn't actually make it in get to stay...

The Mormons..changed their racists doctrine..from ...how that the babies being born in the world with white or dark skin were angels who fought in a war in heaven..who either fought with Jesus in the war ..OR were angels who were weaker who did not want to fight in the war..can you guess who the weaker babies are supposed to be??...you guessed it babies born into the world with Black skin...well now since the racist organization..has grown to an over abundant organization..they have to go to the third world countries....where guess who populate those territories...yup mostly black people...and that wouldn't be to good ..if you preaching a racist doctrine..now would it..so you guessed it they changed to accommodate the growth..I can truly see the wisdom why God would allow such organizations to flourish...God bless

Hey skittles...I have never seen any other Christian (real) organization..of bible believing churches ..have a quota system for proselyting people Jw"s does have a quota system...sad because ...thet fail to realize..only God saves not the Jw's

Evidently you don't realize that Jehovah's Witnesses believe most of faithful mankind- more than 144,000- will live forever on earth- Psalm 37:29

And as far as the 144,000, it's not their fault that you disagree with Revelation 14:1-3 and Revelation 7:4.

i think of possibly you want a pair of instructions in what we genuinely have faith. maximum human beings of witnesses do no longer want to circulate to heaven. maximum human beings want to stay in the international and stay interior the paradise that Jehovah has promised. in case you genuinely examine the bible particularly of sitting at right here assuming you understand each little thing approximately it you may desire to recognize which you would be able to additionally locate the fact interior the bible. additionally we as witnesses understand that Jehovah had promised a mass Resurrection of all people who're lifeless. So all of us understand that the witnesses isn't the only ones going into the hot equipment. wheArmageddonon comes it is going to likely be the human beings who're status on devil's component of the fence which would be destroyed and is no longer resurrecteded into the hot equipment. examine seconTimothy 3.

SKITTLES is correct.. I have been around alot of Jehovah's Witness and this is what they speak of . They say that 144,000 are going to heaven and there are going to be people here on earth who makes it out of tribulation who will make this world a paradise again like God was trying to give to Adam and Eve. This is why we grow old and die now because of their sins. Jehovah loved us so much that he brought his son Jesus to earth to die for our sins so we would have a chance to live again.
