It depends. If you just got a really bad hair cut, then hair seems like it does not grow at all, while hair that you have to shave every day seems to grow like a weed!
Ignoring these perceptual differences, human hair seems to grow at a pretty consistent rate of about half a millimeter or so per day, or about half an inch every month. It may grow faster or slower depending on your age, your genetics and your hormonal state, but half a millimeter per day is a good average.
What this means is that the maximum growth rate for hair is about 6 inches (15 cm) per year.

You would be surprized how many girls dig bald guys. But I would say about 6-8 weeks. Thats how long it takes my roots to grow in 1-2 inches.

Dude, your head must have a weird shape or your ears protrude. I can't imagine why else at least SOME of those ladies don't dig your shaved head.
When I started shaving mine, I've gotten mostly compliments from the fairer sex.
Sorry it didn't work out for you. Maybe a buzz or a high 'n' tight would work out better.

Your hair grows about 1 100th of an inch a day on average. I have not done the math but, it may take awhile. I love a bald head...fun to rub...hehe

not 2 long just only use shampoo on the part thats growing back like once a week cuz the natural oils in your hair will make it grow faster

If you're average, about two months. Average growth a month is about 1/2 an inch.
