Let it go natural. If it is curly or wavy, let it curl and wave. Get some curl enhancing gel and blow dry with a diffuser. When you try to make it something its not (in your case straight), your hair will rebel.

try thermal straightening... it's a bit expensive, but it's worth it.. you don't even have to blow dry and it lasts about 8 months to a year, doesn't get frizzy... go to Ulta, they have stylists there and they are reasonably priced compared to others... it's the alternative to Japanese Hair Straightening.. I have the same problem and I'm getting it done for the 4th time this Sunday.. meanwhile, you can use Acquage Shampoo (BEST shampoo ever to beat frizzies) it blue, and L'Oreal has a antifrizz conditioner in an orange bottle, but again, there's nothing like wash and go for me, and for that, you have to get the thermal (it actually makes your hair look healthier, compared to other straighteners that can damage)

try the "head rush" by bed head! i absoutly LOVE it! i wont leave the house without it. it makes your hair shiny and not so staticy and frizzy! plus.. it smells super good! please! try it! youll love it!
also, try miracle by redken! it does the same thing, and you can use either one of these on your hair, before you straighten your hair, to protect it from all the heat! good luck! p.s- i WAS goin through the same problem... until i used these products. JEEZ.. i sound like a commercial! haha good luck!:)

garnier fructis weightless anti-frizz serum. apply a little on the frizzy parts, it shouldn't frizz. but, don't put too much because it'll look greasy

maybe you should go to a beauty salon once, i am sure they can show you and tell you what is best to use on your hair to keep it straight the way you want
