I use AVG Free. It's an awesome program and comes highly recommended by many techs for a freebie. They also have a version you can pay for if you choose. Give it a try!! I've yet to have any issues and I've had it for more years than I can count now. In fact, when I installed it, it found viruses that Norton had missed!!

I would stay away from norton, avast and alfa cleaner. Every one of these programs caused me major problems by not doing the job they were advertised to do. I had to end up paying for antivirus service. I didn't want to but I would advise you to do the same as "you get what you pay for."
