My friend has greasy thin hair. I know she washes it because I was at her house a couple of times and told me she was going to wash her hair in the sink. Anyhow, everytime I hang out with her she scatches her head and dandruff fall out. She does this every time we hang out. I think it is very gross and annoying. However, if she really needs to scratch her head she can do in the restroom or something. Do you think I'm going overboard with this issue?
How can I stop my friend from doing this gross habit?

I don't think you're going overboard, but I do think you should try to be a little more sesitive to her problem. When I hit puberty, My hair became VERY oily and chunks of skin were coming off of my head. Very gross. But I went to the doc, and he said it was because my hormones were changing and my body was all out of wack. Go to the drugstore with her and pick out an over the counter coal tar shampoo (like T-Gel or selsun blue-something that tingles) and some other cheap beauty producta and have a make-over day at home. This will make it a fun thing instead of hurting her feelings. I'm sure she's aware of the problem and is embarrassed, but if you're understanding, it may help her situation quite a bit. Be a good friend.

Just tell her: You might not realize that when you're scratching your head like that you're making flakes fall out, it's sorta gross. I didn't want to say anything to hurt your feelings though, but since we're good friends I figured I should just be honest about it." Then just matter-of-factly change the subject, so she won't feel awkward or anything. Anyway, that's how I'd do it. Good luck!

tell your friend about her problem and ask her to get "Head & Shoulders HydraZinc Formula in Citrus Breeze". Since "dandruff is A fungus that breeds on oil and cuases lots of small white flakes to form on your scalp", zinc pyrithione would kill the fungus and stop it from forming again. Ask her to try it 3 times a week.

She may not have dandruff, but excezma or psoriasis (which can be very itchy btw). My husband was using an anti-dandruff shampoo to no avail. I pointed out his flakes to our stylist who said that it wasn't dandruff, but psoriasis and suggested a tea tree oil shampoo. He started using it and, Poof! the flakes were gone!

it is extra of a psychological imagine than something else. in case you quite choose it for your self you'll push your self to quit in spite of if the information we provide right here do not grant you with the outcomes you want. In regard to nail biting i'd recommend reducing your nails quite low each and each week to squash the habit. once you do not have any nails then u won't be able to chew. also u would also paint your nails. Nail polish is fairly poisonous to the body if ingested so this would genuinely help u kick the habit. you do not might want to apply a coloured nail polish if u do not regularly placed on them yet getting a coloured is optimal. For ur different difficulty. quit borrowing different ppl's pens and be sure u have more desirable than sufficient in ur bag so u do not might want to borrow. Sorry yet i do not comprehend of any ideas for u to quit biting pens. it is as a lot as you to quit.

Give her a bottle of dandruff shampoo, that should do it. If your concerned about her feelings mail it to her without a return address. Should do the trick.

She may have a disorder, or maybe she just needs to change her shampoo. Suggest the shampoo change first, and be sensitive to her, she may not even be aware that she is scratching so much, because she is so used to doing it.

say you've noticed she's itchy and has dandruff and if its a major problem she suffers from. show concern not disgust as it maybe medical! if she's just hygenically useless guide her to the antidandruff shampoos in the store and r2mind her to use them daily.
