It is always bad to fart in any situation however, it's not like one can control one's bodily functions. The digestive tract produces gas and the body has to release it either via one opening or another. If you can avoid doing it in class, by all means try, if not, then let 'er rip and hope it isn't an SBD or really loud. Good luck!!

Yes. 1. It smells 2. It's rude and not mature/lady like 3. Kids will laugh at you and make fun of you for it for at least a week, and as long as a year, or even the rest of your school life.

When I was your age (about 42 years ago) my aunt taught me this little saying:
"Better to toot and bear the shame than not to toot and bear the pain."
It was true then and it is true now. The important thing is that you not make a production of the act (of farting) and politely excuse yourself.

If you gotta fart, do it. You could explode trying to hold it in.Try to do it quietly,and if it really stinks look around like you're trying to figure out where it came from. That might fake out the others.

well, in my school, if people hear something everyone looks in your direction, and if they smell something then they start to cover their noses with their shirts and race around the room screaming for a fan. I recommend getting out of the room (or going to a corner) when you need to...lol

it is really rude, you should really try to hold it in. If you can't and you let one slip, never admit it was you. ALWAYS blame the kid next to you (unless he's bigger than you, then blame someone smaller!).
