Okay, so its somewhat understood we've got a friends with benefits thing going on with my ex...But what if he keeps giving me mixed-signals (like he really likes me more than that)? Example: asking me out to places, catching him stareing at me, and well, yeah...(By the way, I still don't know what I really want from him. I care about him and want him but the relationship stuff still scares me-and he knows all this) What does he want from me?

The better question is to ask yourself ....
1) What do YOU want from HIM?
2) Are you interested in a real relationship, or just stringing him along?
3) Do you want something longterm with him?
From what you have said, sounds like you oughta move on, and give both of you a chance to find a real relationship, one that has future potential.

Lets be real: It sounds like you two are both sending mixed signals. I've never seen the "friends with benefits" thing work. Someone always catches feelings and you're either going to "upgrade your coverage" or "cancel your plan".
If you plan to continue with the FWB thing (which by the way I do not recommend for numerous reasons) make sure that it's understood what those benefits include before you continue. If you don't, either go full blown (which is what I think you both REALLY want) or make a clean break. Don't make it complicated, just get what you want and stop wasting time.
